Elizabeth Jean-Louise “Biz” Adams
Elizabeth Jean-Louise “Biz” Adams, 35, of Portersville left us tragically Tuesday by her own hand.
A perfect storm of events hit her and took her to a desperate low. Her family recognized that drugs were putting her at risk and was in the process of trying to get her help the very moment she took her life.
She was a beautiful and warm person who was dearly loved by family and friends. Her quick comebacks were cherished.
Born, Oct. 9, 1980, in New Castle, Biz graduated from Slippery Rock High School and from Westminster College. She received her master's degree at the University of New Hampshire.
After her graduation, she worked as an editor at a publishing company in Boston.
She lived in Naples, Fla., and had relocated to Portersville. She enjoyed writing, reading and retail sales. She loved her nieces and nephews and her siamese cat, Betty.
Biz was preceded in death by her grandparents, Claude Arthur Knight and Elizabeth May Knight, and William Edward Adams and Jean Adams.
She is survived by her mother and father, Eileen and William Adams; her sister, Stacy Morrow of Portersville; and her nephew and niece, Bob Morrow and Olivia Tiche.
She also is survived by her brother, Bill, and his wife, Kari; her nephew, Patrick; and one new niece or nephew yet to be born.
Her aunts, Nancy Jolley, Frances Knight of Pittsburgh and Nancy Adams of Minnesota; her uncle, Robert Adams; and her cousins of Pittsburgh also grieve her loss.
She will be greatly missed by family and friends, and we are all heartbroken.
