Marietta Sue Zidanic

Marietta Sue Zidanic, 68, of Pittsburgh passed away on Monday at Allegheny General Hospital.

Born July 22, 1948, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Henry Nicholas and Clara Mae (Bell) Knauff.

Marietta was a 1966 graduate of Mars High School. She went on to earn her associate degree from Duff's Business School. Marietta worked for Dr. Steele in Sharpsburg, St. John's Lutheran Home in Mars, North Hills Passavant Hospital and UPMC in Oakland.

She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Stanley Zidanic; her son, John E. (Amy) Zimmermann Jr.; her grandson, Zander; her brothers, James A. (Mary Alyce) Knauff and David L. (Cindy) Knauff; and her sister-in-law, Laura Jean Knauff.

In addition to her parents, Marietta was preceded in death by her first husband, John E. Zimmermann Sr., and her brother, Henry Austin Knauff.

ZIDANIC — The family of Marietta Sue Zidanic, who died Monday, Aug. 22, 2016, will welcome friends from 6 p.m. until the time of the funeral ceremony at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 116 E.
