The Mercer Livestock Auction provided the following report from Tuesday:

Heavy commercial bulls, super heavy, $76., heavy weight, 75. to 85., and medium weight, 70. to 79.; commercial cow, high grade, 59. to 68., core sales, 50. to 58., and lower grades, 40. to 50.; fed colored cattle, choice, 94. to 103., and selects, 85. to 93.50.; feeder cattle, average grade, 85. to 100., and low grade, 70. to 84.; calves, 75. to 100.; and goats, 135.

Winter hours began Tuesday. The next special fall sale is Nov. 18.
