Jacob S. Piper, 35, passed away Friday afternoon.

Born Aug. 28, 1981, in Ellwood City, he was the son of Becky Ripper Lutz and the late Dennis Piper.

Surviving are his mother, Becky (Richard) Lutz of N.C.; one daughter Hailie Piper of New Castle; one brother, Drew Piper; two sisters, Mandy Duchene and Alyssa Warner; his maternal grandmother, Patricia Ripper; his paternal grandmother, Dee LaSota; and numerous cousins, uncles and aunts.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Piper.
