Esther Joan Rembold Klinehamer

Esther Joan Rembold Klinehamer, 85, of Butler passed away Tuesday at Allegheny General Hospital.

She was born Aug. 26, 1931, in Oil City, Pa., to the late Harold Rembold and the late Mary Hockman Rembold.

Joan was a member of the Faith Fellowship Alliance Church. She was a 1950 graduate of Rocky Grove High School. Joan also was a member of Silver Sneakers.

She is survived by her husband, John Klinehamer, who she married Aug. 25, 1951; one son, Richard P. Klinehamer, and his wife, Leslie, of New Castle; one daughter, Linda J. Wetzel, and her husband, Larry, of Butler; four grandchildren, Ryan Wetzel and his wife, Sarah, Christopher Wetzel, Danielle Wetzel and Andrew McCann; two great-grandchildren, Owen Wetzel and Elliott Wetzel; one brother, Larry Rembold of Davis, Calif.; one sister, Helen Smith of Grove City; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Terry Klinehamer.

KLINEHAMER — Friends of Esther Joan Rembold Klinehamer, who died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016, will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard Jenks officiating.Burial will take place at the Prairie Cemetery in Harrisville.Memorial donations are suggested to the Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, 200 Faith Way, Butler, PA 16001.Online condolences can be given at www.thompson-miller.com.
