Cynthia L. Hardesty

Cynthia L. Hardesty, 59, of West Sunbury passed away Monday at her home of natural causes.

She was born Oct. 2, 1957, in Ellwood City, the daughter of the late Arthur George Kennard and Donna Foley Main.

Cynthia enjoyed reading and playing video games.

Surviving are her husband, Shawn Hardesty; two daughters, Cheyanne Hardesty and Elaina Hardesty, both of Butler; two sons, Robert Kennard and Brent Kennard, both of Butler; one stepson, Shawn Hardesty Jr. of Wampum; four grandchildren and two on the way; and her sister, Pam (Lloyd) Lindstrom of West Sunbury.

She also was preceded in death by two sisters, Sandra Foley and Michelle Kennard; and her stepfather, Edwin E. Main.

HARDESTY — A memorial service for Cynthia L. Hardesty, who died Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, with the Rev. Tara Lynn of Grace at Calvary Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be private.For more information, visit www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
