Taite Dusheck scored the only goal of the game for Butler to cut the North Allegheny lead to 2-1 in the second period, but the Tigers scored the next four goals to down the Golden Tornado 6-1 at the Baierl Ice Complex Monday night.

North Allegheny (5-1-1) grabbed a quick 2-0 lead in the first period before Dusheck cut that lead in half.

Erik Chidester and Dawson Richard then alternated goals for the Tigers to put the game out of reach.

Butler (1-6-1) and North Allegheny were almost even in shots, with the Tigers holding the 27-26 advantage.

Mars 5, North Hills 3 — Keaton Hanna and Noah Raymundo scored goals 26 seconds apart in the final minute to lift the Planets (2-5).

Raymundo had two goals for Mars.

Freeport 9, Gateway 1 — The Yellowjackets scored six goals in the final period, including three off the stick of Cameron Speakman, to rout winless Gateway (0-8).

Robert Reichenbaugh also had a hat trick for Freeport (3-4).
