Free parking will be available in various areas in downtown Butler during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday seasons, said Butler Mayor Tom Donaldson.

Parking will be free at some garages and all street meters today through Sunday, on Dec. 3 and from Dec. 16 through Christmas.

Free parking does not include the Centre City garage or permit-only garages, and all signed parking regulations, including two-hour limit parking, will continue to be enforced.
