Helen C. Thompson

Helen C. Thompson, 98, of Cabot, passed away Friday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Aug. 7, 1918, in Chicora, she was the daughter of Walter C. Miller and Claire Foster Miller.

Helen attended the Crosswinds Alliance Church. She enjoyed being around horses, helping on the Ambrose Vegetable Farm, canning vegetables and telling stories of the past.

Surviving are three daughters, Patty (Edward) Ambrose of Cabot, Betty (Steve) Ambrose of Cabot and Lois (Marvin) Curfman of Sarver; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl M. Thompson, who died June 25, 1989; one son, Earl “Sonny” Thompson; and two sisters.

THOMPSON — Friends of Helen C. Thompson, who died Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the Fox Funeral Home in Saxonburg.
