I, like many unfortunately, have been affected by recent and long-past heroin overdoses and deaths. But I have noticed something different with public opinion when it comes to the Butler Eagle Facebook page.

A lot of times the deaths are reported by an article accompanied by a Facebook post. The positive feedback and comments regarding Haley Leight’s death was a refreshing change compared to the normal negative intolerance that we usually see.

It would be nice to see understanding and sympathy for everyone who has a drug problem and not just the young, pretty and popular ones.
