Robin Elizabeth Arnold
Robin Elizabeth Arnold, 45, of Butler was suddenly called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Jan. 27.
Robin was born Feb. 5, 1971, in Portsmouth, Va. She served honorably in the U.S. Army, including a tour of duty in Kuwait during Operation Desert Storm. During her enlistment, she received the National Defense Service Medal, the U.S. Army Service Ribbon, the Southwest Asia Service Bronze Star and the Kuwait Liberation Medal.
Robin was a member of the American Legion Post 778 in Lyndora. She was also very involved in serving women veterans at the VA hospital in Butler.
Known by many for her caring personality and good-humored wit, Robin enjoyed home decorating, Bible study and keeping up with her little dog, Bailey.
She is survived by three sons, Chris McDuffie of Buffalo, N.Y.; Zach Smith of Ogden, Utah; and Chase Smith of Jacksonville, Fla.
A close friend and loyal companion to many, she leaves behind dear loved ones in Columbus, Ga., Butler and Grove City.
ARNOLD — A memorial service for Robin Elizabeth Arnold, who died Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, is planned at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Anglican Church in Butler, with the Rev. Ethan Magness of the Grace Anglican Church in Slippery Rock officiating.
