Charles E. Bauman

Charles E. Bauman, 71, of Butler passed away Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Jan. 5, 1946, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Charles F. and Martha Molkenthin Bauman.

Charlie proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver and a warehouse worker for Wetteraue Corporation in East Butler.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Carol Bauman.

In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his wife of 23 years, Faye C. Woolcutt, who died Nov. 18, 2000; and one sister.

BAUMAN — Friends of Charles E. Bauman, who died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017, will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Boylan Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler.St. Paul Catholic Women and Christian Mothers will meet at 12:35 p.m. Thursday at the church to recite the rosary.Military honors will be performed at the funeral home following Mass.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
