Search on for missing Kittanning man
OAKLAND TWP — State police are searching in Oakland and Center townships for a Kittanning man who has been missing for more than a week.
Police were using the Oneida Valley Volunteer Fire Department on Route
38 as a command post in their search for Greg Bosko, 55.
Bosko used to live in Butler. He has family members in Butler and frequently spent time in the city. His family had planned to search for him there Saturday.
State Police Lt. Eric Hermick said this morning there was suspected foul play.
“There's no rescue involved,” he said.
Hermick said there were indications Bosko sustained “substantial injuries.”
He said the search continued overnight into today.
Bosko's family said he was last seen in Butler March 20.
“Come home or contact somebody,” Dan Bosko, his brother, told the Butler Eagle Friday.
Dan Bosko also told the newspaper that it was out of his brother's character to go missing like this.
Before state police's search, Kittanning police took a missing person's report.
