Jeffrey Robert Beneigh, 62, of Greenville, Ind., passed away Tuesday.

He was an aircraft mechanic for UPS and a member of Teamsters Local 2727. Jeff also was a member of the South Hoosier Street Rods Car Club, the NHRA and St. Mary's Navilleton Catholic Church. He had a passion for cars and enjoyed drag racing.

Jeff was born Dec. 4, 1954, in Butler, to the late Robert and Loretta Sweesy Beneigh.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Debbie Rankin Beneigh; his children, David Beneigh, Nicole Beneigh; his sisters, L. Jean (Robert) Mau, Joelyn (Louis) Niggel; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
