Kerry T. Fisher
Kerry T. Fisher, 54, of Lake Helen, Fla., formerly of Butler, passed away Feb. 16 at his home following an illness.
He was born Feb. 22, 1962, in Butler, to Harry and Shirley Fisher.
Kerry graduated from Moniteau High School and was a Lutheran.
He worked as a longtime package deliverer for UPS and as a correction officer for the state of Florida.
Kerry loved his family, his golden retriever, woodworking and making others laugh.
He is survived by his wife, Marsha L. Barnhart Fisher, who he married Oct. 6, 1984, at the English Lutheran Church in Chicora; his daughter, Kristen Compton and her husband, Ryan, of Lake Helen, Fla.; his son, Ryan T. Fisher of Orlando, Fla.; his mother, Shirley M. Fisher of Debary, Fla.; one brother, James Arnold of Wadsworth, Ohio; three sisters, Cindy Parsons of New Philadelphia, Ohio, Robin Welsh of Selinsgrove, Pa., and Shara Savasta of Deltona, Fla.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Fisher; and his son, Brent A. Fisher.
FISHER — A memorial service for Kerry T. Fisher, who died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, was conducted Feb. 20 in Debary, Fla.Arrangements were entrusted to the Altman-Long Funeral Home, Debary, Fla.
