2 more ex-officials added to tainted water lawsuit
PITTSBURGH — The names of two former Butler School District officials have been added to the lawsuit seeking damages for lead exposure at Summit Township Elementary School.
Attorneys for school district resident Jennifer Tait, who sued the district and former superintendent Dr. Dale Lumley in federal court over lead-tainted water at Summit Elementary School, where her daughter attends, have added as defendants Mary Wolf and Glenn Terwilliger.
Wolf was assistant superintendent of elementary education and Terwilliger was maintenance supervisor. Both have resigned.
The amended lawsuit also adds copper to the lead that was part of the original suit.
