BUTLER TWP — A pickup driven by a Slippery Rock man veered into oncoming traffic on Route 422 west before wrecking into an embankment near Greenwood Drive Saturday afternoon, according to township police.

Police report Stephen Main, 52, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment following the accident, which was reported in a 12:11 p.m. call to 911.

The hospital had no status for Main this morning.
