Benninger, Sigler
Gina Benninger and Chris Sigler, both of Madison, Wis., were united in marriage Dec. 29 at Alumni Memorial Chapel at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich. The Rev. James Salberg officiated. A reception followed at Eagle Eye Golf Course in Bath, Mich.
The bride is the daughter of Barb Gibson-Benninger and Russ Benninger, both of Butler and Lakewood, N.Y. Parents of the bridegroom are Judy and David Sigler of Shelby Township, Mich.
The maid of honor was Ashley Sowa of Pittsburgh. Bridesmaids included Ashleigh Labbe of Milwaukee and Monica Wilson of Detroit. The bridesman was Ben Shoemaker of Greensburg.
Performing the duties of best man was Michael Sigler of Bismarck, N.D. Ushers included Ben Labbe of Milwaukee, Robin Green of Seattle and Cole Cook of Madison.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Butler High School. She received a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in 2012 and a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2014.
She is a statistics instructor at University of Wisconsin-Madison.
The bridegroom graduated from Utica High School in 2008. He received a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in 2012.
He is a doctoral student in electrical and computer engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
The couple is making their home in Madison.
