James “Diamond Jim” Alexander Adams

James “Diamond Jim” Alexander Adams, 82, of Cranberry Township passed away Saturday.

Born Feb. 17, 1935, in Curtisville, Pa., he was the son of the late James A. and Elizabeth Spence Adams.

Jim was an avid motorcycle enthusiast who loved motors, speed and racing. He was an owner and operator “over the road” truck driver for 52 years. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by neighbors, co-workers, family and dear friends.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Julie (David) Stough of Ellwood City, James Adams Jr. of Fombell and Steven Adams of Pittsburgh; his grandchildren, Gretchen Stough and Benjamin Marmarosa; his brothers, Vaughn Adams of Evansville, Ind., and Norman Adams of Zelienople; and his sisters, Yvonne Keller of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Lynnette Brown of Jackson Township.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Adams; and his brother, Tom Adams.

ADAMS — A funeral ceremony for James “Diamond Jim” Alexander Adams, who died Saturday, March 25, 2017, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township. Jim will be laid to rest at the Mars Cemetery.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
