Mary A. Bowser Yohe
Mary A. Bowser Yohe, 61, a beloved mother and friend, went to heaven March 20 after a long illness.
She was able to remain at her daughter's home with the assistance of hospice and her son, Eric, who became an excellent caregiver during her final months.
She was born Aug. 17, 1955, in Butler, to Harry Oliver and Marjorie Simmers Bowser.
Mary traveled and lived in various places including Germany, Michigan, California and Virginia.
She was always giving even at the end of her life by donating her earthly body for research in the hope of finding a cure for others.
Mary always had a positive attitude and outlook on life. She was able to roll with the punches and genuinely enjoyed life. She loved playing Bingo and card games, old movies, elephants and coffee. She was a dedicated Pittsburgh Pirates fan. She would always send cards for both major and minor life events to her family and spent a lot of time laughing and smiling.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Cherrie Baker and her husband, Gary; two sons, David Yohe and his wife, Ronita, and Eric Yohe; two grandchildren, Kamryn and David Yohe; three brothers, John L. Bowser, Tony Bowser and Harry O. Bowser Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband David Yohe and her parents.
