Alan Stewart McCormick
Alan Stewart McCormick, 63, of Harmony passed away suddenly Friday.
Born June 26, 1953, in Latrobe, he is survived by his father, Ralph “Saul” (the late Laura) McCormick and was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret “Jean” Boyer (the late Jim Runyan) McCormick.
Alan was a 1973 graduate of the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf. He retired from his career at MSA after 32 years. He was also a member of the Hungarian Club in Zelienople.
In his free time, Alan was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and racing. Above all, he treasured the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his father, Alan leaves behind to cherish his memory, his three daughters, Amber (James) Durban of Slippery Rock, Heather McCormick of West Sunbury and Autumn (Jason) Huntington of Mantua, Ohio; four grandchildren, Jessica Durban and Nolan, Landon and Sophia Huntington; two brothers, Gary (Nan) McCormick of Mars and Dennis (Mary) McCormick of Evans City; his stepbrother and stepsister, Joe and Susie Urlacher; several nieces and nephews; and his companion, Deborah Dunlap.
MCCORMICK — Friends of Alan Stewart McCormick, who died Friday, March 31, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E.
