Reita DeMask

Reita DeMask, 93, of Butler passed away Sunday.

She was living at the Newhaven Court of Clearview with lifelong friends, Helen Rodgerson and Joanne McDonald.

Reita was the only daughter of Wilmer and Frances Weckerly.

She graduated from Butler High School in 1941. Reita worked at the Bantam Car Co. during the war in the factory's payroll office.

She also worked at the Building and Loan Co. on Main Street and years later, at A-Penn Oil in East Butler and Star vacuum. She was a charter member of the Ladies Bridge Club, meeting bimonthly for 50 years. She loved dancing and various sports.

She will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Cheryl Patterson Armstrong and Denise Patterson Keefer and her husband, Brian; five grandchildren, Tim Armstrong and his wife, Nicola, Vickie Gay and her husband, Bob, and their child, Bodie, Leissa Keefer, Lorie Hubbard and her husband, Tony, and their children, Jordon, Jaden and Julian, and Kurt Keefer and his wife, Nicole, and their new baby, named after GG, Gabrella Grace.

Reita's first husband, H. David, died in 2015. In 1992, her second husband of 25 years, Raymond DeMask, died. She will be missed by Cara Jo Miller, Barbara Sinz and Bobby DeMask.

DEMASK — Services for Reita DeMask, who died Sunday, April 9, 2017, were conducted at the Geibel Funeral Home in Butler. Burial will be at the Butler County Memorial Park.For more information or to leave an online condolence, please visit www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
