George E. Robinson
George E. Robinson, 75, of Freedom, New Sewickley Township, Pa., passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon at UPMC McCandless Hospital after a short illness.
He was born Dec. 23, 1941, in Marshall Township, Allegheny County, to the late George E. and G. Naomi Holsinger Robinson Jr.
He was employed for many years as a truck driver for various sanitation and refuse companies in the area.
George enjoyed hunting and fishing and truck and tractor pulls.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gladys E. Lindsay Robinson; and his two favorite dogs, Little Bit and Black Jack.
He is also survived by one brother, Gary (Bonna) Robinson and his family of Marshall Township, Pa.; and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jim and Jean Lindsay Price of Enon Valley; and other nieces and nephews and their spouses, including Jim, Tammy and Mike Price, Pam Mibuck and Roxanne Dickson.
ROBINSON — Friends of George E. Robinson, who died Sunday afternoon, May 7, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at TURNER FUNERAL HOME, 500 Sixth St., Ellwood City.Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery, North Sewickley Township.
