Joanne Foster

Joanne Foster, 76, of Penn Township passed away Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born May 16, 1940, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Anthony Lenoski and Ruth Bick Lenoski.

Joanne worked as a clubhouse manager for Sun Crest Golf Course. She was a charter member of the former Penn Township Ambulance Service and also a very active member of the Penn Township Volunteer Fire Co., where she was currently secretary and treasurer. She enjoyed baking, crocheting, traveling with friends and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are her son, Scott (Paula) Foster of Tionesta; two daughters, Jodie (Jack) Fleishner of Penn Township and Bobbie Foster of Penn Township; her sister, Darlene Swartz of North Huntington, Pa.; four grandchildren, Anthony (Dawn) Fleishner, Nicole (Tad) Selfridge, Stephanie (Steve) Dripps and Allen (Bonni) Foster; and four great-grandchildren, Steven, Seth, Shane and Marley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 34 years, Raymond Foster on March 20, 1990.

FOSTER — There will be no visitation or services for Joanne Foster, who died Sunday, May 7, 2017.Arrangements were entrusted to the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.Memorial donations may be made to the Penn Township Volunteer Fire Co., 311 W. Airport Road, Butler, PA 16002.
