Paul Martin Meindl
Paul Martin Meindl, 76, of Cabot passed away Saturday at Concordia Lutheran Home.
He was born Oct. 24, 1940, in Pittsburgh, to the late Louis M. Meindl and Elizabeth F. Steinhauser Meindl.
Paul was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church of Cabot. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Paul worked as a manager in the personal computer division at IBM for more than 25 years working in Marietta, Ga.; Boca Raton, Fla.; Hong Kong, China; and Raleigh, N.C., and retiring April 15, 1994. He enjoyed ballroom dancing, fishing, boating, computers, jigsaw and word puzzles.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Margaret Rettig Meindl; his daughter, Katherine Elizabeth Meindl Vegerano, and her husband Joseph of Maggie Valley, N.C.; one expected grand baby in October; two brothers, James Meindl and his wife Frederica and Edward Meindl and his wife Myrona; one sister, Mary Meindl Potter; and a number of other relatives.
MEINDL — Friends of Paul Martin Meindl, who died Saturday, May 13, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 330 Hannahstown Road, Cabot, with the Rev.
