Bruno J. Ligato, 93, passed on Sunday at North Hills Passavant.

He was born March 12, 1924, in Coraopolis to the late Carmello and Susan (Alimena) Ligato.

He was the beloved husband of the late Kathryn E. (Torquato) Ligato; loving father of Donna (Richard) Brooks of Valencia and the late Russell John Ligato. He was the grandfather of Richard Lee Brooks II and Dayna Jean Brooks; and brother of Bill Ligato. He was also the brother of the late Frances Ligato, Virginia Zeh and Pauline Scalercio.

He was a millworker, worked for Dravo Corps and was a former member of St. Killian's Church, Cranberry.

In 2013, he and his wife moved to Mars from their home in Sewickley.

LIGATO — A private burial for Bruno J. Ligato, who died Sunday, May 28, 2017, took place in St. James Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Copeland Funeral Home, Sewickley.
