9:10 a.m. Friday — A one-vehicle accident happened on Route 38 in Concord Township.

Matthew Himelright, 39, of West Hickory, Pa., was driving south on Route 38 near Valley Road went his Dodge Ram went off the west berm of the road.

The Ram continued along the embankment and struck a tree head-on before stopping with the vehicle’s driver side on the edge of the embankment.

Neither Himelright nor his passenger was injured. Himelright was cited for speeding. The Ram sustained disabling damage.
