RV destroyed by fire on Route 422
The aftermath of a recreational vehicle fire Saturday on Route 422
FRANKLIN TWP - A recreational vehicle caught fire around 2 p.m. Saturday on Route 422 west.
Rick Dorr of Arizona was towing a Jeep with the vehicle when he ran out of gas.
He pulled over, filled up his tank and it caught fire, he said at the scene.
Dorr unhooked his Jeep from the vehicle and drove it out of harm's way. He was not injured. Firefighters put out the fire within 20 minutes.
