Larry George White Sr.
Larry George White Sr., 74, of Butler passed away Thursday at his residence.
Born in Butler on Feb. 12, 1943, he was a son of the late George P. and Anna Marie Grant White.
He was employed as a pipe fitter at Butler Armco, now known as AK Steel, retiring after 30 years of service.
He was a member of Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church and the Mary Queen of Franciscans OSF Fraternity.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Victoria Paffrath White, whom he married Sept. 18, 1965; one son, Larry G. (Jen) White Jr. of Sarver; five daughters, Zoe Ann White of Butler, Christine (Doug) Kappler of Butler, Desiree DeVore of Butler, Suzanne (Aaron) Baker of Meridian and Gera White of Butler; and two brothers, Daniel (Linda) White of New Jersey and Bruce (Jeanie) White of Butler.
Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, Justin White Kappler, Kari Kappler, Erica (Cody) Montgomery, Camden Baker, Katelyn Kappler, Joey Hill, Morgan Kappler, Emma Kappler, Colton White, Carter White, Anna White and Abigail White; two great-grandchildren, Gabriel Kappler and Baby George Montgomery; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert White.
