Wesley Fredrick Pace
Wesley Fredrick Pace, 70, of Connoquenessing Township passed away of lung complications from silicosis Tuesday at home, surrounded by family.
Born April 27, 1947, in Waukegan, Ill., he was the beloved husband of 43 years to Elizabeth Dennis Pace; the loving father to Dennis Sylvester Pace and Patricia Louise (Larry Dewayne) Eaton; and the adoring grandfather to Andrew Ezra Eaton.
He is also survived by his brother William Charles Pace, Ricky Dale Pace, and the Cummins and Zajd families.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Sylvester Pace Sr. and Gladys Fern Dixon Pace; his brother, James Sylvester Pace Jr.; and his sister, Patricia Ann Cummins.
Wesley loved instinctive archery, hunting, fishing and nature. He had a talent and was considered an artistic stone mason.
He was the owner and operator of Sweeties Treats Ice Cream Scooter in Butler.
His real passion was being a commercial fisherman in Florida, which is where his ashes will be scattered.
