Joel Alan Ball, 60, of Greece City, went to meet the Lord on Wednesday at his home.

He was born March 20, 1957, in Butler, the son of the late Merle G. Ball and Helen Weiland Ball.

Joel was a member of St. Wendelin's Catholic Church. He was a 1975 graduate of Moniteau High School and a 1986 graduate of the Institute of Advanced Technology. Joel was the information systems manager for The Arc of Butler County for over 20 years. He enjoyed auctions, collecting, traveling and music. He truly enjoyed spending time with his family.

Joel is survived by his wife of 31 years, Kathy Ann Briggs Ball, whom he married June 28, 1986, and their fur baby, Sanibel. He is also survived by four sisters, Phyllis (Don) Everly of Greece City, Merrill “Butts” Hilderbrand of Butler, Linda Slater of Greece City and Melanie Owens of Hooker; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and one sister.

BALL — Friends of Joel Alan Ball, who died Wednesday, July 12, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the William F.
