Phyllis R. Ridenour

Phyllis R. Ridenour, 76, of Mars, formerly of Pleasant Hills, passed away Tuesday at UPMC Passavant Hospital.

Born Dec. 15, 1940, in Wheeling, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Ray Montgomery Krumme and Ruth Ann Winter Krumme Little.

Phyllis had been a school teacher for the Ohio public schools and most recently was a preschool teacher in Bethel Park.

She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Cranberry Township.

She was the mother of Nicole (Todd) Kolson of Mars and Amy (Tom) Levin of Rohnert Park, Calif.; the grandmother of Kamryn, Kennedy, Hannah, Lauren, Aubrey and Kaylee; and the sister of Kim Little of Westerville, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Ridenour, who died April 2, 2005.

RIDENOUR — Friends of Phyllis R. Ridenour, who died Tuesday, July 25, 2017, are invited to a memorial service at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hope Lutheran Church, 8070 Rowan Road, Cranberry Township, PA 16066. The Rev. Robert Gago will officiate.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the donor's favorite charity.Arrangements are under the direction of the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.Condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
