A woman suffered a suspected minor injury when her Nissan Versa rolled over near Slippery Rock University.

SLIPPERY ROCK TWP — A woman suffered a suspected minor injury when her Nissan Versa rolled over this morning around 10:50 a.m. on Harmony Road near Slippery Rock University.

State police at the scene said the Nissan was driving southbound and was attempting to avoid two northbound vehicles that had just been involved in a minor rear-end accident on the road. The Nissan went into a ditch and landed on its side.

Slippery Rock firefighters had to stabilize the vehicle and assist the driver, whose name was not immediately available, out of her vehicle.

She was taken by Slippery Rock ambulance to nearby hospital. All three vehicles were towed from the scene.

The driver of the vehicle that caused the rear-end accident will likely be cited, police said.
