William K. Douthett
William K. Douthett, 86, of Connoquenessing Borough passed away Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, at his home.
He was born July 21, 1931, in the family home, son of the late William G. Douthett and Helen V. Stoner.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean War aboard the USS Wisconsin and retired from Armco Steel.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Eleanor M. Kerner Campbell Douthett, whom he married Dec. 11, 1970.
Also surviving are eight children, William K. Douthett Jr., Diane L. Gillespie, Douglas B. Campbell, Leisa K. Cavalero, William Campbell, Tamara S. Bonzo, Robert A. Campbell and Brian K. Douthett; and Atlas and Mizar, his loving canine pets.
Also surviving are three siblings, Claire Douthett, Sarah Caldwell and Barbara Cary.
William also had numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, four brothers, and his first wife, Shirley A. Rex.
