11:08 a.m. Monday — Stephanee A. Feltmate, 32, was arrested after she was found with alleged drug contraband during a home check by a state parole agent at her apartment on the 300 block of West Jefferson Street. The agent notified police after finding alleged empty stamp bags of suspected heroin, empty plastic bags containing white powder, a metal spoon with suspected heroin residue and crack pipes. Charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, she is in the Butler County Prison on a parole violation.
Monday — Police charged Bryan A. Perri, 28, and Lorianne Lucas, 20, both of Lyndora, in a break-in at a home on Wilson Avenue. The defendants are accused of entering the apartment between Aug. 8 and 18 when the occupants were in the Butler County Prison. A neighbor reported she had seen Lucas entering and leaving the apartment several times while the victim was jailed, according to court documents. The victim’s ex-husband also told police he had seen Lucas and Perri in the apartment without permission. The victim told police the value of the items stolen was $2,155, documents said. Damage to home was estimated at $595, documents said.
Perri and Lucas are charged with burglary, conspiracy and trespass, all felonies. Lucas also is charged with felony theft. Arrest warrants are pending against both.
[naviga:h3]Butler Township Police[/naviga:h3]
4:52 p.m. Tuesday — An Armstrong County man was hurt in a two-vehicle wreck on Route 422 east near the Route 356 on-ramp. The crash happened when a sport utility vehicle driven by Nathan O. Crytzer, 29, of Worthington, Armstrong County, struck the side of a van driven by Thomas J. Kamerer, 63, of Cowansville. The van rolled onto its side, leaving Kamerer with a minor injury, according to a police report. Police cited Crytzer for careless driving.
[naviga:h3]Penn Township Police[/naviga:h3]
Sept. 5 — Ezequiel P. Ramirez, 25, of Cranberry Township was charged with drunken driving stemming from a traffic stop. Police said they spotted Ramirez about 12:25 a.m. Aug. 13 in a pickup truck in a parking lot of a closed business. When an officer pulled into the lot, according to court documents, the defendant drove north on Route 8. The officer caught up and pulled over Ramirez. The defendant, who appeared to be intoxicated, claimed he could not understand English and showed his green card from Mexico, documents said. When the officer, speaking in Spanish, asked Ramirez his birth date, he shrugged. He was arrested and taken to the police station for a breath test.
The officer made contact with an Arizona police department, which provided a translator. Ramirez is charged with driving under the influence and disregarding traffic lanes.
