Lois Blagg
Lois Blagg, 91, of Zelienople, formerly of Chippewa, passed away Monday at Passavant Retirement Community.
Born July 29, 1926, in Rochester, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Willard and Esther Klingelhoefer Emerick.
Lois worked as a school secretary for the Beaver County School District for 27 years. She later worked in real estate, retiring from Hussey Copper.
She was a member of the Harmony-Zelienople United Methodist Church (HZUMC), where she belonged to the Together Sunday School Class. In her free time, she enjoyed oil painting, gardening, decorating and sewing. She will be dearly missed.
Lois leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Jeff (Pamela) Blagg, of Cranberry Township; and her granddaughter, Sarah.
In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband, George Blagg, who died Aug. 16, 1993.
BLAGG — Friends of Lois Blagg, who died Monday, Aug. 21, 2017, will be received from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral ceremony at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Harmony-Zelienople United Methodist Church (HZUMC), 123 N. Pittsburgh St., Zelienople, with Pastor Dan Owen officiating. Lois will be laid to rest at the Beaver Falls Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in her honor to the HZUMC, or to the Passavant Benevolent Fund/LAS Foundation, 105 Burgess Drive, Zelienople, PA 16063.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with Lois' family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
