Richard Suttle

Richard Suttle, 55, of Karns City passed away Thursday afternoon at VNA Hospice in Butler.

Born in Butler, Aug. 18, 1962, he was the son of Alvin L. Suttle, who survives; and the late Ida M. Huff.

Richard was a Methodist by faith. He was a self-employed contractor and owner of Rich Suttle’s Construction.

He is survived by his father, Alvin Suttle, of Karns City; his companion, Lee Ann Paxton, of Karns City; a daughter, Alexis Brown, of Butler; a stepdaughter, Genavieve Brown, of Colorado; a step-grandson, Roman Powers, of Colorado; four sisters, Ellen Bray (Jim) Snow, Lillian Johnston, Mary Suttle and Linda Suttle; a stepsister, Connie Dorr; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, John F. Suttle; and his stepsister, Patty Suttle.

SUTTLE — Friends of Richard Suttle, who died Thursday, Aug. 24, 2017, will be received from 5 to 8 p.m., with funeral services following at 8:15 p.m., Sunday, at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 S. Washington St., Eau Claire. Private burial will be Monday morning at Mount Varnum Cemetery, Washington Township, Butler.
