The annual Women's Health and Wellness Fair will be held from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Oct. 14 in Clearview Mall.
It is organized by the Butler Breast Cancer and Women's Cancer Support Group. The event will feature more than 40 vendors and will offer a variety of medical and other information valuable to women and men, including information about cancer screenings, wigs for cancer patients, blood pressure testing and flu shots.
There also will be a basket auction.
[naviga:h3]Perform for the Cure[/naviga:h3]
Jen's Academy of Rhythm and Moves will showcase Perform for the Cure in the center court of Clearview Mall from noon to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 15.
The event will feature performances from baton twirlers, dancers and cheerleaders.
Raffle tickets will be sold during the performance. Proceeds from the raffles will benefit Butler Breast and Women's Cancer Support Group's efforts to provide hair halos to cancer patients.
Restaurants in the mall's food court are participating in the event. Some of their profits from the event will go toward the support group.
