Tours of Preston Park in Butler Township will be offered on Nov. 25, beginning at 10 a.m. The 2- to 3-hour walking tour is available at no cost to township residents and their guests. Moraine State Park will be the site of a Muddy Creek Oil Well Living History Exhibit from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday beyond the State Parks Region 2 office, 195 Park Road, Old 422 off Route 528, Muddy Creek Township. McConnells Mill State Park in Slippery Rock Township, just over the county line into Lawrence County off Route 422, will be the site of a Hemlock Hunt Hike on Alpha Pass Trail at 10 a.m. Saturday leaving from the Point Parking Lot.
