U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Michael Evans Jr. arrived earlier this month for duty as a recruiter with U.S. Army Recruiting Center Clarion.
Evans is the husband of Misty Evans of Zelienople.
He is a 2002 graduate of Freedom High School.
