Bernard F. “Buck” Trimbur Jr.

Bernard F. “Buck” Trimbur Jr., 76, of Butler died Thursday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born April 24, 1941, in Butler, he was a son of the late Bernard F. Trimbur Sr. and Dorothy (Slater) Trimbur.

Buck was a 1959 graduate of Butler High School and had worked as a truck driver. He also was in maintenance for Marmon Keystone for 40½ years, retiring April 1, 2009. Before that, he worked 10 years for Kelly Chevrolet.

He was a member of St. John Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville, the RC Mens Club, Happy Hunters and the NRA.

He was an avid hunter, NASCAR fan, Pittsburgh sports fan, had coached East Butler baseball and drove a bus for the East Butler Sparks.

Buck enjoyed repairing and fixing things for family and friends and spending time at his camp.

Surviving are his wife, Dianna J. (Niggel) Trimbur, whom he married Aug. 18, 1962; three children, Richard (Darlene) Trimbur of Butler, Julie (Doug) Rebmann of Butler and Daniel Trimbur of Clearwater, Fla.; four grandchildren, Cory Trimbur, Tyler Trimbur, Rachel Rebmann and Ryan Rebmann, all of Butler; three sisters, Leetta Christy, JoAnne (Chuck) Miller, and Mary (Terry) Walker, all of Butler; one brother, Steve (Janet) Trimbur of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey B. Trimbur.

TRIMBUR — Friends of Bernard F. “Buck” Trimbur Jr., 76, who died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017, will be received from 2 until 6 p.m. Sunday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville. The Rev. Matt McClain will officiate.
