Kenneth C. “Pappy” Rape

Kenneth C. “Pappy” Rape, 78, of Evans City, died Saturday morning at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.

Born Dec. 30, 1938, in Forward Township, he was the son of the late Elmer and Gertrude Ritzert Rape.

Ken was a member of Old Union Presbyterian Church in Mars.

He had retired as a truck driver after 31 years with the U.S Postal Service.

Ken loved riding motorcycles, going to his camp and golfing. He also enjoyed going to the casino, but most of all he loved his time spent with his family.

Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Jean Mitchell Rape on March 1, 2014; one son, Dale Rappe; and one granddaughter.

He is survived by four sons, Rodney (Carol) Rappe and Jeffrey (Lynne) Rappe, both of Georgia, Barry (Mary Beth) Rappe of Maryland and Kenneth (Lisa) Rape of Callery; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

RAPE — Friends of Kenneth C. “Pappy” Rape, who died Saturday Dec. 2, 2017 will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City.
