Stephen G. “Steve” Willetts

Stephen G. “Steve” Willetts, 64, of Fenelton Road, Fenelton, passed away at home while surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday evening.

Mr. Willetts was born in Butler on June 24, 1953. He was the son of the late Eugene W. and Vivian Bachman Willetts.

He attended school in Butler and was of the Lutheran faith. He enjoyed hunting, gambling, the company of his family and watching Steelers football.

He had been employed by the County of Butler for more than 15 years in the bridge department.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Janet M. Mennor Willetts, whom he married at St. John's Church in Coylesville on Sept. 30, 1972; two children, Trina M. Willetts Duttry and her fiancé, Edward Neff, of Fenelton, and Stephen J. Willetts of Fenelton; three grandchildren, Jocelyn M. Duttry of Fenelton, Janelle K. Willetts and Racheal S. Willetts, both of Butler; two brothers, Charles and Ralph Willetts, both of Florida; three sisters, Brenda Ferguson of Chicora, Palm Edinger of Tennessee, and Marsha Clark of Karns City; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Ryan Willetts; and a brother, Doug Willetts.

WILLETTS — Friends of Stephen G. “Steve” Willetts, who died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Hile Funeral Home, 339 Chicora-Fenelton Road, Chicora.A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. John Pistorius, pastor of St. John's Reformed Church in Chicora, officiating.Interment will be in the Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Worthington.For more information or to send a condolence, please visit www.hilefh.com.
