Winter storm closes three local school systems
With winter weather — including freezing rain — in the forecast today, Butler, Mars, and Seneca Valley public schools will be closed and Slippery Rock will operate on a two-hour delay.
Snow, freezing rain, and sleet will become snow after the sun comes up today, with a total of 2-4 inches expected, according to the National Weather Service.
