Virginia F. Chapman
Virginia F. Chapman, 71, of West Sunbury passed away Tuesday at home following an extended illness.
Virginia was born Nov. 5, 1946, in Pittsburgh. She was the daughter of the late Irvin Fisher and the late Ruby Copenhaver Fisher.
Virginia retired from WIC in 2009, having completed 20 years of service.
Virginia loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great- grandchildren and friends. She was a very special, caring and strong lady who was loved by so many.
Virginia is survived by her daughter, Rachel Christy and her husband, Ray, of West Sunbury; two sons, Mickey Chapman and his wife, Marsha, of West Sunbury, and Timothy Chapman of Butler; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Fisher of Carrboro, N.C., and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her sister, Shelia Fisher.
CHAPMAN — Friends of Virginia F. Chapman, who died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with retired minister, the Rev. Robert V.
