Ruth Edna Raybuck

Ruth Edna Raybuck

Ruth Edna Raybuck, 92, of Pembroke Pines, Fla., formerly of Butler, passed away Wednesday at her daughter's residence.

She was born Sept. 15, 1925, in Tarentum. She was a daughter of the late Jesse P. Stark and the late Bertha E. Anderson Stark.

She married Daniel Raybuck in 1946. Together they had three children, twin girls, Donna and Virginia, and their brother, Larry.

They built a home on Whitestown Road where they raised their kids. Their home became the neighborhood hub, where all the kids loved to hang out and get her famous chocolate chip cookies and homemade potato chips.

Ruth had a sassy personality, never afraid to voice her opinion. She loved games, especially Scrabble and Solitaire.

Ruth was an avid Steelers fan. She was an amazing quilt maker and also made numerous cross-stitch projects, which many of her family and friends hold dear.
