Clinton Edward “Ed” Sheakley
Clinton Edward “Ed” Sheakley, 74, of Butler Township passed away on Saturday in the comfort of his daughter and son-in-law's home, surrounded by his family, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Born Aug. 11, 1943, in Clearfield Township, he was the son of Agnes Rodgers Sheakley and the late Clinton Sheakley.
Clinton was a graduate of Penn State University. He retired from Armstrong Cement Company in Cabot as an electrical foreman.
He was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
He enjoyed trips to Ocean City, Md., with his family.
Clinton will be dearly missed.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his two children, Shelly (Eric) Weimer and Mark (Tricia) Sheakley, both of Butler; his mother, Agnes Sheakley of Butler; his grandchildren, Nathan and Carson Weimer and twins, Damon and Aidan Sheakley; a brother, Fred (Karen) Sheakley; four sisters, Barbara (David) Vardy, Deborah Pozzuto, Teddi (David) Herman and Jean (Bob) Bowen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Linda Thompson Bowers; and his infant brother, Robby.
SHEAKLEY — Friends of Clinton Edward “Ed” Sheakley, who died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Boylan Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N.
