Anthony F. Mezzatesta, 63, of Cranberry Township passed away unexpectedly Friday.

Born June 2, 1954, in New York City, he was the son of the late Anthony F. and Catherine A. Basile Mezzatesta.

Anthony was an incredible husband, brother, uncle and friend. He was a singer, cook and bicycle frame builder who is loved and will be missed by many. He was a man of great faith who wasn't afraid to share that faith always. He will be greatly missed by his family including his many nieces and nephews.

Anthony leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 41 years, Catherine A. Mezzatesta, whom he married June 19, 1976; eight siblings, Joseph Basile, Michael Raggi, Al Genovese, John Zuar, Joanne Mezzatesta, Joanne Gallo, Kathy Genovese and Jeanne Raggi; and his aunt and uncle, Lorraine and Angelo Basile.

MEZZATESTA — Friends of Anthony F. Mezzatesta, who died Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, will be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Boylan Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.Anthony will be laid to rest at St. Peter's Reformed Church Cemetery in Zelienople.Memorial contributions in Anthony's honor may be made to the American Heart Association and www.heart.org.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
