Thomas William Hart
Thomas William Hart, 75, went to be with the Lord Feb. 7 surrounded by family. He peacefully passed away in Kansas City, Mo.
He was born March 16, 1942, in Ossining, N.Y. to James T. Hart and Beulah N. Hart.
He spent his childhood growing up in Butler and graduated as a star football player from Butler High School. He then attended Youngstown State University, where he met the love of his life, Francine C. Revish, and married her in 1966.
He had the gift of fellowship, sparking a hearty conversation with anyone who crossed his path making people laugh and smile. He enjoyed golfing and following his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers.
Before moving to Overland Park, Kansas in 2017, he was a member of Eagle Rock Church in Pickerington, Ohio, and loved the teachings of Pastor Les Bowling.
Thomas is leaving behind his wife Francine of 51 years; his sons, Thomas W. Hart II, Dr. Gregory S. (Michelle) Hart, and Damon P. (Kathy) Hart; along with 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is also leaving behind his siblings, Dr. Donald (Ellen) Hart and Bonnie Taylor; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, along with friends from New Wilmington, Sharon, Pa., Columbus, Ohio and Overland Park, Kan.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; and his sisters, Minnie Dillard, Janie Thornton and Barbara Jordan.
HART — Viewing for Thomas William Hart, who died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018, will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 North High St., Columbus Ohio.A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Unity Temple Church of God in Christ, 52 Reeb Ave., Columbus, Ohio.
