George Diamond Jr.
George Diamond Jr., 62, of Butler passed away Sunday at Brighton Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Beaver.
He was born Jan. 18, 1956, in Pittsburgh, and was the son of the late George Henry Diamond Sr. and Dolores J. (Buttgereit) Diamond.
George was a member of the NRA and the General Laborers Union Local 1058.
He enjoyed golfing, basketball and hockey, and in earlier years was a Golden Glove boxer.
Surviving are his mother, Dolores J. Diamond of Butler; a sister, Monica (Shan) Perry of Butler; two brothers, Thomas Diamond of Butler and Chris Diamond of Butler; a niece and nephew, Chelsea and Zane Perry; a special aunt, Shirley Buttgereit of Harwick, Pa.; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Henry Diamond Sr.
DIAMOND — A private family service for George Diamond Jr., who died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, was held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W.
